Coding Trainer

Capital City College Training (CCCT), which is part of Capital City College Group, provides exceptional education and training that allows students to reach their potential and employers to develop their talent pool. We are now seeking to recruit two Coding Trainers to join our friendly team.

About the role

This is an exciting new role which will make a real difference to our training provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and progression of students in year 1 of a coding program, utilising the new 01 Founders platform. The aim is for the students to progress to become a year 2 as a 01 Founders student, which is a full-stack coding fellowship, utilising a novel peer-to peer, teacherless coding platform.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will hold a computer science background and possess a recognized training qualification or the willingness to work towards one. You will have experience of providing coding training with multiple programme languages such as Go, Rust and Javascript. The ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT is also essential. Ideally candidates will also have significant experience of working with DevOps and System Admin.

Working Hours 

Our provision will be run from 8am – 9pm Monday , through Sunday, so we welcome applications for any individuals who would like evening  / weekend work as well as those seeking normal office hours. Part time work is available
