Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a College Administrator to join our newly formed Administration hub, providing cross-college administrative support. The Administrator will work with an experienced Manager to ensure standardised processes are compliant, efficient and effective across all administration systems.

The successful candidate will support a group of key staff in the efficient management and operation of their respective areas. Day-to-day duties will be varied and therefore the post holder must be able to demonstrable experience as a strong administrator and the ability to adapt and multi-task within this busy multi-disciplined function.

The post involves working 37.5 hours per week throughout the year (52 weeks). The nature of a 24hr a day, 7 days per week boarding school require staff to work flexibly and as the School is used by pupils at weekends, which are also the time most parents visit the School, there will be a requirement for the job holder to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

We are academically selective and we expect our pupils to achieve excellent results in public examinations. Most of our pupils take up places at the best universities in the UK and around the world. In addition to providing intellectual rigour and challenge, we provide a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience and leadership. All of our boys and girls are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of the widest range of co-curricular activities on offer at Haileybury. Participation in these activities stretches the pupils; it promotes a sense of social responsibility, enhances team spirit and engenders confidence.

The bedrock of a Haileybury education is outstanding pastoral care. A nurturing environment and spiritual encouragement underpin all of our endeavours and help shape the distinctive characteristics of Haileyburians.

Our goal is for our young men and women to leave Haileybury fully equipped with the life skills and the academic credentials necessary for them to flourish in a competitive global employment market.
