COUNSELLING SERVICE REQUIRED

FIXED TERM, ONE YEAR.

PART-TIME, TERM-TIME.


(Up to 11 hours a week, over 2-3 days / week)

We welcome trained and BACP registered counsellors to contact us if they can provide the stated counselling service. We are seeking expressions of interest for a one year contract for counselling services and may be able to offer more or less hours to suitable bids.

Context

Winstanley College employs approximately 180 staff and around 2100 students, aged 16-19, who are enrolled on full time A Level courses or mixed programmes of A Level and vocational courses.


Purpose of the Position

To provide an individual counselling service of the highest quality in order to help individual students engage to the best of their ability with their course of study. The post holder will take a proactive role in the anticipation, identification, co-ordination and planning of response(s) of the current and future needs of targeted groups of students where possible, prior to those needs arising.

Winstanley College is a large sixth form college, which employs approximately 200 staff and around 2300 students aged 16-19, specialising in AS/A levels and Level 3 vocational courses.
