Communications Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated specialist to join a dynamic school environment, where you will play a central role in bringing the school’s story to a wider audience and supporting a connected, thriving school community.
The Communications Manager will be responsible for executing high-quality, consistent, and engaging communications across multiple platforms. Working closely with the Director of External Relations, Event Manager and Digital Communications Co-ordinator and in alignment with the Head’s vision, the Communications Manager will actively contribute to showcasing the culture, community and values of the school on the global education stage.
The successful candidate will have:
- An understanding of the UK Media landscape in a press officer or communications role
- An appreciation of the aims of independent education (Experience of independent education is desirable)
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- Experience in content management, preferably with WordPress, and a working knowledge of SEO
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
