King James I Academy are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the Community department as a Community Coordinator. King James I Academy is an Academy converter secondary school located in County Durham with an all-weather 4G pitch, fitness suite, dance studio and indoor sport facilities. 

You will coordinate and organise the Academy’s Community offer, as well as promoting and encouraging the widest use of the Community facilities. 

You must have the highest level of numeracy and literacy – 5 GSCEs at Grade 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent. Previous experience of facility operation and knowledge of health & safety procedures is essential.  

Working at King James I Academy will provide the opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff whose mission is to become an outstanding Academy that develops successful, well rounded, socially mobile and confident young people who can contribute effectively to the global community.
