Complex Needs Resource Base Teaching Assistant

Wansdyke School are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support our children in our Complex Needs Resource Base provision (based within our specialist provision) and provide support for pupils during lunchtime.

Located on the outskirts of the delightful market town of Devizes, Wansdyke School is a thriving academy, within the Acorn Education Trust. Situated in the heart of beautiful, rural Wiltshire, Devizes has excellent access to routes to Chippenham, Swindon and the M4 to the north, and the A303/M3 to the south.

Working hours: 25.83 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)

• are able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team on whole school issues 
• enjoy working with children and can develop good working relationships with them
• understand and are sympathetic to the needs of young children
• have experience of supporting children’s learning, especially with children in Early Years
• have a current First Aid or be prepared to undertake training
• have a relevant Level 2 and/or 3 qualification(s) 
• would also be willing to be part of our fantastic Midday Supervisor Team
