Required as soon as possible
Applications are invited for the role of part time Compliance Administrator at The Royal Masonic School for Girls.
RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 930+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 240 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with engaged students and stunning surroundings.
This new role has been created to address the increasing levels of regulatory compliance required by independent schools. Schools must meet and observe a wide variety of guidelines and regulations set by both government agencies and the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate (ISI). This post is specifically concerned with meeting and maintaining compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) to be introduced in May 2018, but may include other areas of compliance as required.
Reporting to the Bursar, and working closely with Support and Academic Staff, the Compliance Administrator will perform a critical cross-departmental role, ensuring that The Royal Masonic School for girls fulfils its responsibilities. The Compliance Officer’s key responsibility will be to ensure the School adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements in given areas and internal policies. This post is at the heart of the School's operation and therefore a commitment to the School and its success is a fundamental prerequisite of the role.
Potential candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the school website www.royalmasonic.herts.sch.uk for more information about our thriving school, with an exceptionally rich curriculum and inclusive community spirit.
