A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Central Trust Team for a Compliance, Asset and Risk Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience at a senior level for compliance and/or legal processes and will have experience of working at a strategic level.

As the Compliance, Asset and Risk Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading on risk management and business continuity
  • Leading on the delivery of the Trust’s asset management
  • Fulfilling the role of Company Secretary and supporting our governance function
  • Leading on data protection
  • Line management of a central caretaker


You will work in partnership with the Central Trust Team to effectively manage important service delivery functions and ensuring controls are in place to reduce risk.

  • An ability to tailor verbal and written communications to the audience and provide relevant and accurate information that is presented in a professional manner.
  • Having a positive approach to your work.
  • Being skilled in the use of online systems and databases.
  • Having the ability to work independently as well as closely within a team.
  • A passion for developing and embedding strong processes and systems.
  • Experience or knowledge of governance and/or compliance within the public sector.
  • Finding satisfaction in developing and empowering colleagues to make sound decisions.
  • A drive to contribute more widely to securing excellence educational outcomes across our school.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.


The successful candidate will be required to travel to all our schools within the Trust and will have the opportunity for some home working. We are a family friendly employer and start and finish times will be discussed at interview.
