Rugby School has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer to drive positive change, creating a compliance and risk aware culture at the School.   The successful candidate will ensure that the School is conducting its business in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations that pertain to the independent education sector, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards. 

This role requires someone with a proven track record of working within a risk, compliance or complaint handling role. You will act as the School’s Information Security Officer therefore a strong knowledge of GDPR and other relevant legislation is essential.

You will carry out audits, investigations, mock inspections and provide advice on Department of Education/Independent Schools Inspectorate Regulations and the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools, and their impact on policy, procedures and practice.   This role is for 24 hours per week, across 3 days, 8.30am to 5.30pm with a 1 hour lunch, over 52 weeks per year.   Holiday entitlement is 15 days plus statutory bank holidays.
