We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher. You will have good subject knowledge, a passion for Computing, and want students to love Computer Science as much as we do. As a member of the Outwood Family you will share our vision of “Students First”.
You will be joining as a regional teacher to work at one of our Doncaster Schools. Outwood Academy Adwick and Outwood Academy Danum are both looking for Computer Scientists to join expanding teams. It is a really exciting time as we look to expand the department to offer multiple KS4 courses and broaden our offerings at both schools. We want to be in a position where we offer both OCR Computer Science and WJEC ICT.
We have centrally created resources that can be used to deliver the course content along with support materials for our teachers. We are a Google school and fully utilise Google Classroom including some of AI features that make assessment for learning really insightful.
With the Director Team in place we are really able to focus our time on teaching and learning and adaptive learning in the classroom. The Director team provides interactive ways and new ways of tracking to help with adaptive teaching and learning.
OGAT are proud to be a part of the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) hosting its North and East campus as Outwood Academy Redcar and Outwood Academy Adwick. The NIoT identifies best practice in education, in order to develop cutting-edge, evidence-based teacher training and professional development programmes. OGAT colleagues will benefit from the work of the institute, which draws on the expertise of some of the most outstanding school leaders in education today. For our ECT colleagues a full and detailed programme of support and development, including science subject specialism support will be provided.
