THE ROLE
We're seeking an exceptional Computer Science teacher to inspire students up to GCSE level. You'll join a forward-thinking team committed to delivering a curriculum that fosters computational thinking, creativity, and digital citizenship.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
For this full-time, permanent position available from September 2025, we are looking for:
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong subject knowledge across the Computer Science curriculum to GCSE level
- Passion for innovative teaching methodologies
- Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
Desirable:
- Experience teaching Computer Science at GCSE level
- Knowledge of programming languages taught in UK schools
- Experience with digital learning platforms
- Understanding of AI and emerging technologies in education
- Industry experience or connections in the technology sector

Fulham Cross Academy is in a fascinating position of augmentation; having formerly been a boys only school, we are nearly fully transitioned into a mixed school and have female students in Years 7, 8, 9 and our Trust Sixth Form. We are a STEM specialist school encouraging all of our students to pursue an interests in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We cater for young people from the ages of 11 – 19 and we wish for all of our students to remain in the trust to complete their GCSE and A Level/Vocational education in our Trust Sixth Form, which we run alongside our Trust Secondary School partner – Fulham Cross Girls’ School.
