Ofsted Outstanding – October 2021
Required for September 2023
Teacher of Computer Science
M1 – UPS3 (£29,344 - £44,919 per annum)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, well qualified specialist to teach at all levels within an expanding and forward-looking department. We require additional staffing due to the increased popularity of the subject which plays an important part in the academic success and wider cultural life of the school. Over 350 students currently study Computing at GCSE and A Level. This role provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to teach A level, if desired, but this is not essential. Examination results are excellent and the subject enjoys a high status.
This post is full-time but part time (days negotiable) would be considered for a suitably qualified candidate. Applications are equally welcome from experienced or early careers teachers.
For a successful candidate we are able to support the completion of an MA. The admissions policy prioritises children of staff in accordance with the admission arrangements. Subsidised staff accommodation may be available.
