COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER
Brockington College is a very successful 11-16 college, where pupils enjoy ‘learning to live life to the full’. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to teach computer science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, but also able to teach business studies at Key Stage 4. As a member of our computing and business faculty, you will be committed to helping every pupil you teach to reach their potential. To help you achieve this, you will need to be visionary, positive, reflective, resilient, hard-working, effective, committed to our ethos and have a good sense of humour!
Brockington College is a Church of England Academy, which is attended by pupils from a variety of faith backgrounds and our strong Christian ethos is the firm foundation for all that we do. We converted to Academy Trust Status in 2012 and become an 11-16 school in September 2015. Consequently, our first set of Year 11 pupils will sit their GCSE examinations this summer.
The school is a popular choice for pupils and their families and is currently over-subscribed with over 1,300 pupils on roll. Situated in Enderby, Leicestershire, the college is easily accessible, being nearby the M1 and the M69 motorways. Our modern college building provides state-of-the-art facilities that make a strong contribution to teaching standards and to pupil and staff well-being.
You are welcome to contact Mrs Louise Nixon, Principal’s PA, for further information regarding the position at email@example.com.
