ROLE SUMMARY:
A leading British international school in Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Computer Science to join its secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a high-performing, international environment with a strong focus on academic excellence, innovation and digital literacy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5 (IGCSE / A Level or equivalent)
Deliver engaging lessons in programming, computational thinking and problem-solving
Prepare pupils for external examinations and track academic progress
Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department
Support the safe, responsible and effective use of technology in learning
Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Degree in Computer Science or a related subject, with QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching Computer Science within a British or international curriculum
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital learning and innovation
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Commitment to pastoral care, collaboration and professional development
