ROLE SUMMARY:

A leading British international school in Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Computer Science to join its secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a high-performing, international environment with a strong focus on academic excellence, innovation and digital literacy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5 (IGCSE / A Level or equivalent)

• Deliver engaging lessons in programming, computational thinking and problem-solving

• Prepare pupils for external examinations and track academic progress

• Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department

• Support the safe, responsible and effective use of technology in learning

• Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related subject, with QTS or equivalent

• Experience teaching Computer Science within a British or international curriculum

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital learning and innovation

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

• Commitment to pastoral care, collaboration and professional development
