A school in Manchester are seeking to appoint an ICT teacher for a position starting in November 2018 until the end of the term possibly longer.

The role is teaching ICT to GCSE  and is a part-time position teaching four days a week. You will also be expected to cover other lessons within the school as the timetable is spread across the four days. Students are offered the opportunity to realise their potential based on values such as hard-work, student participation and high expectations. The school has a fantastic facilities within the department, and also within other curricular departments to give students the best possible start to their development. 

It is expected that the right teacher is able to help students engage in lessons that will be challenging, have a strong classroom presence, have high expectations of their pupils and be willing to mark and prepare lessons accordingly. They will also be required to contribute to parent’s evenings if necessary.

The role is open to both experienced teachers as well as NQT's.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

· QTS 

· Be enthusiastic, professional and committed

· Be confident with classroom management
