Kingsway Park High School is a GOOD school (OFSTED 2017). Our aim is to raise attainment and improve life opportunities for all of the young people that we serve. The school believes in high aspirations for both staff and students and we are confident that we have created a culture and environment that is of high quality with positive working relationships for all.
The computing and ICT department is a relatively small department within school but is a thriving and forward-looking one. Including this post, there are 4 full time members of staff (a Head of Computing & ICT, 2nd in department and 2 mainscale posts).
Due to the new building, the Computing & ICT facilities at Kingsway Park High School are outstanding and are at the cutting edge of ICT and Computing thinking and design. Each member of the team has their own designated teaching room as well as an ICT shared working office.
Ideally we are seeking to appoint a candidate with a real passion and expertise for computing.
This post is ideal for someone who wants to develop their teaching practice and be part of a successful team. We want the appointed candidate to have high expectations of themselves and others. We want staff who will “go that extra mile”.
The person appointed will have a high quality induction and be fully supported by the Head of Computing & ICT and the 2nd in department.
