Oak Lodge School is a regional residential provision providing education for pupils aged 10 to 19m who are D/deaf and who have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)  

The term D/deaf is used throughout education and research to describe students who are Deaf (British Sign Language users) and deaf (who are hard of hearing and tend to communicate more orally.  

The school follows a student-centred multi-modal approach to communication. We would like to welcome you to become part of our vibrant and innovative learning community and to have the opportunity to work in our happy and harmonious school which promotes the highest standards and is at the forefront of special education. We are an inclusive school where every student and member of staff is valued highly.   

We are looking for a highly motivated teacher of Computing/ICT who will work as part of a team committed to raising the achievements of all our pupils. Above all you will need to be capable of using your initiative and creating ways to empower pupils to achieve.
