Shenley Brook End School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Computer Science with an ability to teach across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will have a real drive to deliver exciting and innovative lessons and will be keen to lead Computer Science within our school community. You will also have a determination to assist in and help develop participation and interest in extracurricular activities. ICT and Computer Science currently enjoys an excellent uptake in courses and results are strong.  Shenley Brook End School is the first school in Milton Keynes to be awarded the NCCE Computing Quality Mark for excellence in computing curriculum delivery. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of teaching across Key Stage 4 and 5, including exam groups
  • Have a high regard for their learning environment and resources.
  • Be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students.

  • Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning.
  • Aspire to take on further leadership roles within the school.
