Nelson and Colne College Group is a beacon for educational excellence, made up of a family of colleges – Nelson & Colne College, Lancashire Adult Learning & Accrington & Rossendale College. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer to join our Higher Education Division. 


This is a 0.5 permanent role working a total of 17.5 hours per week.  This role will be based at our Accrington & Rossendale campus in Accrington although occasional travel to other sites may be required.


Main duties include:

• Teach on HE Computing courses with a particular focus upon HNC, HND delivering effective learning for students

• To plan and prepare a high-quality learning experience, including for delivery online, as required.

• Ensure assessment is planned, set and carried out to the highest standard and follows externally/internally set undergraduate regulations.



The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree in a relevant subject area. 

• Recognised teaching qualification.  

• A higher degree (MA/MSc/Mphil) or PhD
