Job overview

We require a construction technician to work with our KS4, Entry 2 to level 2 and students with learning difficulties, in the construction and plumbing workshops at king's cross centre.

You will be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and work collaboratively as part of a team. You will have proven ability to manage competing priorities and demands and a willingness to learn new skills as required. You will have good levels of computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.

About you:

You will be able to carry out various maintenance duties including workshop improvements and developments within carpentry, plumbing and decorating. You will have relevant knowledge of tools, materials and equipment relating to all workshop trades.

About Westminster Kingsway College

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.

Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3.
