Job overview

Embleton View is seeking to appoint a Construction Tutor. 

As Construction Tutor, you will plan and deliver construction courses to students.  Units of delivery may vary in accordance with the skill set of the tutor, but may include - brickwork, carpentry, joinery, plastering, painting and decorating, electrical wiring and circuits, wallpapering, plumbing, health and safety and tiling.

Suitable candidates will have:

• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification appropriate to the occupational area of construction

• Experience of the support needs of students with SEN

• Relevant experience of teaching construction, woodcraft or occupational competence within the construction industry

It would be desirable for candidates to have: 

• Teaching qualification/ QTLS

• Experience within an SEMH/ASD setting 

Driving licence and own vehicle with business insurance essential.
