Job overview

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Gainsborough. The PRU caters for students aged 11 – 16 who have been taken away from mainstream schooling and need additional support to learn. Pupils are identified as having behavioural and emotional needs and the school aims to provide a nurturing environment for them to learn.

We are urgently seeking a qualified Construction Tutor who has experience delivering, marking and assessing all aspects of the curriculum. The role would suit an individual who ideally has previous experience within a similar setting yet this isn’t essential as the main focus is to find someone who has a positive influence.

The ideal Construction Tutor will have excellent subject knowledge, good classroom management and must be computer literate. The Construction Tutor must be able to fully commit to the role which commences immediately.

To apply for the Construction Tutor role or to discuss this further please either contact the Lincolnshire office or email your current CV.

What we can offer you:

  • Free access to all CPD such as Team Teach, Autism awareness and Moving and Handling qualifications
  • Excellent daily rates paid weekly through PAYE
  • £50 reward every time you recommend a colleague
  • Pension Contributions (subject to qualifying period)
  • Regular social events with 100% complimentary food and drink
  • Access to a dedicated SEN consultant 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Please be advised that in order to be eligible for this post you must possess a DBS on the update service or be prepared to fund for a new DBS via Vision for Education. You must also be able to meet all the national safeguarding criteria.
