Vision for Education, the supply arm of TES and leading education recruitment specialist, are looking to recruit a Construction/Plumber/Electrician/Woodwork Tutor with experience in working with young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties) for an SEN school in Wisbech.
The school is committed to educating students with SEMH through flexible learning programmes, providing exceptional pastoral care and building strong relationships with their students. Their motto in every classroom for students is to ‘give respect and get respect’. You will need to be patient, considerate and able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. It is paramount that you have a genuine passion for working with children and have the ability to engage children in the subject material. Successful candidates must also be imaginative, self-motivated and be able to withstand challenging behaviour.
Applications are invited for both Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Unqualified Teachers with experience of teaching Construction or something of a similar area. This position has an ASAP start date and is expected to continue if you are the right person for the school. The position will be on a Part-Time basis of 1 day a week.
