The Intern’s role, under the direction of the Marketing Manager, will support marketing and copywriting for the Trust and our schools. 

The Intern will work as part of a small marketing team to deliver a variety of copywriting and creating digital content for the Trust and our schools. The role will generate social media and digital content, including website copy, newsletter and blogs, to be used across multiple platforms and learn how to report on impact. 

Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of brand image and its relevance to copywriting. Candidates will show experience in social media, journalism, digital or communications fields.

You will gain valuable training and experience working directly with the Marketing team and staff across the Trust.

Responsibilities

  • Writing high quality copy for websites, newsletters, emails, marketing campaigns, blogs and social media.
  • Generating stand-alone copy and text to complement visual concepts
  • Work with other teams to generate social media, email and blog content
  • Plan, write and edit content for websites news articles and pages
  • Work with the wider team to brainstorm and plan content marketing and social campaigns.
  • Providing copy for various other marketing materials
  • Content research including interviews and desk-based research
  • Optimise existing copy to bring it to life for target market
  • Social media post creation and scheduling
  • Support colleagues as required, to ensure effective marketing, communications and events
  • Support with administrative duties for the wider Insights & Innovation team
  • Any other duties that may be required under the direction of the Marketing Manager
