Peter Symonds College is one of the largest sixth form colleges in the country and is situated in Winchester, Hampshire. We offer a range of counselling courses at our Adult and Higher Education site, designed to enable the individual to enjoy the opportunity to learn about communication and counselling skills, enhance existing skills, qualify as a counsellor, develop both personally and professionally and obtain a recognised qualification.
Our courses come highly recommended. The Level 2 and 3 courses are validated by ABC (the Awarding Body consortium), whilst our Higher Education courses are validated by Middlesex University. Our Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling Based on Transactional Analysis is accredited by BACP.
We require staff who would be available to mark Level 5 Counselling Case Studies. Markers would need teaching /marking experience and a CTA or PTSTA qualification.

Peter Symonds College is a sixth form provider in Winchester, Hampshire with approximately 4,000 students aged 16-19, the majority of whom are studying A level. There is also a thriving adult provision with around 3,000 enrolments each year, ranging from leisure to HE and including teacher training. The College has two co-educational boarding houses accommodating over 70 students, including those from the Falklands Islands overseas territory.
The town of Winchester has a population of 45,000, and is known for its landmark cathedral and for an exceptional range of cultural activities. It is frequently cited in surveys as one of the best places to live in the UK. The College is a five minute walk from Winchester rail station.
