With the growth our ground-breaking wellbeing programme, we seek an inspiring and talented Counsellor to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team. Working predominantly with male students, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our student’s development and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of professionals including our existing counsellor, social worker and wellbeing practitioner as well as parents and carers to provide support and guidance where necessary.
With a high profile amongst our student body, candidates must be sensitive to the Jewish ethos of JFS School, but need not be Jewish themselves. Successful experience of counselling students in a school environment would be desirable.
This is a school with an outstanding track record both for academic results and pastoral care. This position is intended to enhance and further develop our pastoral provision at JFS as part of our multi-disciplinary team for student wellbeing and safeguarding. The successful candidate must primarily be able to build rapport and engender trust with our students through successful group programming and coaching that will engage all students.
At JFS, we believe in giving our students the tools they need to build their future socially and emotionally as well as academically.
