Do you share our ambition for achieving a consistently high quality education for all our children and young people?

Do you have a passion for the significance of Design and Technology in the curriculum and a desire to promote high achievement for all, across all key stages? Do you want to be part of an expanding professional services team that continues to thrive and play a significant role in school improvement?

In this role you'll join a strong county-wide team of Primary and Secondary Inspectors and Advisers offering professional support, challenge and intellectual stimulus to a diverse community of schools who have high expectations of our service. You will relish the opportunity to engage with a wide range of partners to co-construct programmes of professional learning that draw upon the best evidence based practice, locally and nationally. You will also have opportunities to work beyond your subject into wider school improvement activities and strategic priorities. We will support you in development of your skills, including appropriate accreditation in areas relevant to this role and gain experience in all age groups and phases.

A successful track record in teaching that demonstrates your capacity to contribute to the ongoing evolution of excellent learning and pedagogy is essential. You'll understand what supports and develops the capacity of teachers and leaders to embed ambition and drive improvement in their classrooms and schools. You'll relish the opportunity to make a real difference to the achievement and well-being of all children and young people in Hampshire schools, including the most disadvantaged.

The post is home based but with good support from a local office.
