Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) recently judged by Ofsted Inspection as officially good and on our way to outstanding is the largest local authority adult education service in London and one of the largest in the country. We offer a large and diverse programme of further education qualification courses and employer-based training as well as extensive community based provision. An innovative course leader is required to teach on and lead our AAT Accounting programme. We are looking for someone who has exciting ideas and proven teaching and assessing experience. Successful applicants will have:
· substantial experience of teaching groups of adults, including qualification courses at levels 1 to 3;
· a recognised teaching qualification for the lifelong learning sector, preferably CTLLS or PGCE, or equivalent;
· Level 4 Diploma for Accounting Technicians or NVQ/SVQ Level 4 in Accounting (AAT will consider applications from those holding accounting degrees, or relevant, significant accounting experience); and
· a recognised assessor qualification.
