Job overview
The College’s Hair and Beauty curriculum area provides excellent opportunities for students to achieve at the highest level. We are seeking to appoint an experienced further education teacher to join the College’s Hairdressing team and to lead on a Level 2 qualification. Well developed teaching schemes that focus on providing teaching excellence help to ensure that our Hair students experience inspirational vocational learning. There are 4 well equipped salons with up to date resources to meet the needs of the industry. The successful applicant will hold Hairdressing qualifications to the highest level and a teaching qualification, plus Assessor Awards.

Halesowen College, in the West Midlands, is a mixed further education institution. It accepts students from the age of 16 and has around 4,200 learners in attendance. The college offers courses of study in 11 subject areas and partners with three local higher education institutions.
Founded in 1966, Halesowen College regularly places in the top 10% of colleges for the examination performance of its students.
