Course Leader Spanish with possible Head of Department - Modern Foreign Languages
Full-time, permanent contract starting 30th August 2016
The College wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Course Leader to manage the teaching and delivery of Spanish to GCSE, AS and A level within the Modern Foreign Languages department. Applicants must have a successful track record of delivering A level Spanish, ideally with some management experience.
Applicants for this role may also apply for overall Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). This is a new role created through a restructure of the College’s MFL department to coincide with the retirement of our Head of Spanish and the move to a new purpose built building. In recent years the College has operated with a ‘Head of Department’ for each language we offer. We now wish to have ‘Course Leaders’ for individual languages, managed collectively by the Head of Department for MFL. External applicants for the Head of MFL must have a track record of successfully delivering Spanish A level.
The posts attract the following salaries on the Sixth Form College Teachers pay framework/
