We provide Further Education and Higher Education at our campuses at Bishop Burton College near Beverley and at Riseholme College near Lincoln. This includes the Showground Campus featuring state of the art teaching environments, engineering workshops, sports facilities, world class laboratories and an industry leading animal management unit. At our Bishop Burton campus, we have undergone a multi-million-pound campus development programme including significant investment in state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities, a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility.

The Childcare Course Manager/Lecturer role will involve managing the Childcare L3 provision (TLevel) and carrying out the relevant tasks/duties as seen in the job description. The curriculum area is currently delivering the new T-Level qualification and is recognised nationally as being one of the leading institutions in this area with numerous case studies published regarding our successful implementation of this course.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the childcare department, and will be based in our childcare centre of excellence nursery building based at the Bishop Burton Campus. The successful applicant will report to and work closely with the Curriculum and Learning Manager, ensuring that the overarching aims and objectives of the GFE department are realised.

We are looking to appoint a Course Manager who is well organised, able to work to deadlines while also ensuring the team that they manage can also work to and meet the deadlines set. Experienced in curriculum management in a busy educational environment, you should also possess excellent customer care skills. Ideally you will hold a Level 5 teaching qualification.

Ideally the successful applicant will be available to start the role from September 2022.
