Job overview

Uxbridge College has excellent facilities for the delivery of our Computing and IT provision. We are seeking a Course Team Leader to co-ordinate and develop the curriculum on a range of programmes in the Section and to teach on courses from Level 1 to Level 5.  In liaison with employers and assessors, you would design the work based learning programme to meet employer needs, promote the College’s apprenticeship provision and improve employer satisfaction against agreed targets.  You would also lead/supervise a team of Assessors and Lecturers.

You will possess a degree or equivalent in the subject area, together with an advanced level teaching qualification (e.g. DET, PGCE) and have a strong track record good understanding of best practice in teaching and learning.   You should also have some experience of team supervisory/leadership and some curriculum co-ordination experience, and should have a good understanding of Work Based Learning pathways and frameworks.
