Actual Salary £22,445.86 - £24,857.28 (FTE £25,979 - £28,770)

Full time, permanent, term-time only + 5 days (39 weeks)

37 hours per week.

7am – 3pm daily

We require a Cover Administrator who is relentlessly positive and would relish the opportunity to join our dedicated and talented administration team and wider staff body. The post would involve organising cover arrangements for the school on a day to day basis. Directing a team of Cover Supervisors, working with Heads of Faculty to staff long term absences and building good relationships with teaching agencies. The ability to manage a budget and achieve best value for the school, good record keeping and someone who can build strong relationships is important.

Once cover for the day is organised you will support the administration team with a range of tasks. These would be agreed with the Senior Office Manager upon appointment but tasks such as newsletters, displays and wider student support are likely to be part of the role. This post is ideally suited for someone with drive, resilience, determination and who thrives on challenge. Experience or working knowledge of a school setting would be an advantage but full training will be given.

The administration function at Parkside is being remodelled and this role is a key part of that remodelling, as such, there will be times that you are working closely with the Headteacher or senior staff to resolve staffing issues. Systems are in place but you will have the support and autonomy to develop your own.
