Job overview

At the Prior Pursglove College site in Guisborough, we are seeking to appoint a Cover Co-ordinator to ensure appropriate levels of  Learning Support Assistant and teacher support are in place in all lessons within the Endeavour Faculty ono a daily basis, as well as organising student LSA placements as required. As the role will also involve covering for absent Learning Support Assistants and teaching staff, you must be able to work on a one to one or group basis with our students and have an understanding of the needs of, and empathy for, students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.  


Excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to maintain efficient and effective recording systems are essential.  You will also need to be able to demonstrate strong literacy skills and have experience of working with pupils with SEND requirements.
