School Cover Manager
NJC Scale 5 - Point 25 (£23,111) to Point 30 (£27,358) based on FTE of 35 hours
37 hours per week 7.45 a.m. – 4.00 pm with a 3.45 finish one day per week
Calderstones School is looking to recruit a Cover Manager on a full time, term time only basis working 7.45 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. each day with one day having a 3.45 pm finish.
The purpose of the role is to organise the provision of cover for absent colleagues which is both planned and unforseen. This also includes the management of cover supervisors and liaison with supply staff and agencies, to support the smooth running of the school by providing efficient management of cover.
You will also provide an excellent quality standard of administrative services to support the aims and objectives of the school.
The job would be starting as soon as possible.
You will be fully conversant with Microsoft office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and an experience using SIMS is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be extremely organised and be able to work under pressure having high expectations. You will be able to engage with students and various stakeholders within the school community and be able to work independently and also as part of a team. You must be motivated with a strong work ethic.
