33.5 hours a week, term time + 5 days 

The Governing body are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor and Learning Resources Coordinator who can work well as part of a small team.

You will be involved in delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the teacher, motivating and enabling students to progress in their learning and managing behaviour in line with school policy. The successful candidate will have high expectations with the ability to create a positive learning environment for all students to achieve. When you are not covering lessons you will provide additional support to classroom teachers.

Your role will also be responsible for:

• Organising, promoting and coordinating the running of the Afterschool Homework Club.

• Supporting the library function by ensuring that it is fit for purpose. 

• Supervising the library during the lunch period. 

A flexible, responsive ‘can do’ approach to team working and organisational needs is essential for this role.
