31 hours per week (08.30am – 3.30pm) term time only
We are looking to appoint confidential and flexible person who enjoys working with young people. Your work will principally involve supervising classes who have had work set by their absent teachers, but may include other duties by negotiation.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, calm under pressure and be able to think on their feet. The successful candidate should hold GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths and be willing to learn new skills. Experience working with young people is preferable but not essential.
No matter what your career path to date, or your age, we wish to recruit an inspirational colleague. Potential is at least as important as experience measured by years served, and we intend to appoint for attitude and train for skills.
Cedars is a high performing, and very popular 13-18 upper school of 1200 students in the small town of Leighton Buzzard. The school enjoys a fine reputation in the area, attaining consistently excellent results.
