King’s School is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise groups or whole classes, where a teacher is absent. Where there is not a requirement to cover lessons or cover duties, the post holder will provide administrative support to the wider school.
This is a busy and varied role, as the successful applicant will work across all departments of the school as required. The successful applicant will be working with other experienced Cover Supervisors and will join a welcoming and supportive staff team. If you are experienced in working with young people, managing a busy schedule, and are a flexible team player we would like to hear from you. The role may particularly suit someone who is interested in training to be a teacher having gained some experience in school; we have successfully taken one of our former Cover Supervisors through teaching training, to a permanent contract with us.
