We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor, which is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic colleague to join our vibrant and successful school. The details of the post are:
Contract status: Permanent
Weeks per year: Term Time Only (which is 39 weeks per year)
Days per week: Monday to Friday
Hours per week: 35
Daily shift times: 8.15am to 4.15pm, with a 60 minute unpaid break
Grade: Scale 5
Actual salary: £28,901 to £30,193 per year, with uplifts for long service. (This salary will also increase when the NJC pay deal is finalised for 2025-26)
Cover Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Hampstead School and the continued learning of our students. When a teacher is absent, they step in to manage the classroom, ensuring students are engaged with the cover work provided and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is enthusiastic, conscientious, patient, dependable, and reflective. Our non-teaching associate staff are fundamental in improving life chances for our young people, and as a Cover Supervisor, you will be critical in ensuring students learn to the best of their ability and achieve their potential. Your dedication provides essential continuity in students' learning and contributing to their overall success.
