Derby Cathedral School are currently looking to appoint an additional Cover Supervisor to work as part of our growing Cover Team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for covering lessons for absent teachers in Key Stage 3 and 4.

This is a unique opportunity to help lay the foundations of a growing and developing school.

Interviews for this role are expected to take place during June 2023.

Derby Cathedral School is the first ever Church of England Secondary school in the Diocese and after being in our temporary school for the first three years, moved to our new state-of-the-art building in September 2021. This is located close to the city centre.

The school equips students with skills and qualifications that will enable them to access high-quality careers in and around the city of Derby and beyond. The curriculum offer is broad and balanced and is enhanced by strong links with the Cathedral. The curriculum and our character values, based on the acronym FAITH, are a key part of the school vision and represent a platform from which we build high levels of personal development, well-being and achievement from Year 7 onwards.
