Job overview
We are looking for a responsible, reliable and well-organised person to supervise students in the classroom, you will play a key role in the school covering lessons as required. The primary purpose of the Cover Supervisor is to supervise and support students who are engaged in learning activities during the short-term or unforeseen absence of their usual subject teacher.
When not covering lessons you will be expected to cover in the Subject Removal Room and help with lunchtime duties.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and dedicated, with a passion for working with pupils and confident to deal with behavioural issues within the classroom.
Experience in engaging with students in a classroom setting, covering core subjects would be desirable but not essential.
