To help us realise our ambitions we seek applications for Cover Supervisors who seek to understand our young people and the community we serve. You will supervise pupils in the absence of teaching staff. You will build relationships across all age ranges, getting the opportunity to take responsibility for classes across the full curriculum. Previous experience of working with young people aged 11-16 is essential. Full training and support will be provided.
Hours: 32.5 per week, 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time. May be suitable for part-time working for the right candidates.
Withernsea High School is a smaller than average local authority maintained secondary school situated in the area of Holderness. This has the advantages of a spacious and pleasant rural location, on the coast. There is affordable housing in the town of Withernsea and in the surrounding villages house prices are relatively low.
The school benefitted from a rebuild and refurbishment in 2016 and as such is spacious, modern and fully resourced.

Withernsea High School is a smaller than average local authority maintained secondary school for students aged 11-16. Situated in Holderness, East Riding of Yorkshire with a coastal location, it has all the advantages of a pleasant rural environment. Located approximately 18 miles to the east of Hull, the 2017 City of Culture, the school serves the population of southern Holderness and currently educates around 750 pupils.
