An exciting opportunity has become available for a Cover Supervisor/ETA at Thornhill Community Academy. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring individual to provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and integration, as well as providing short term cover in the absence of classroom teachers.
In February 2023, Ofsted graded Thornhill Community Academy as a ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ Leadership and Management. This is an exciting time to join our Academy.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have GCSE Maths and English 4/C or equivalent
- Be able to demonstrate high standards of numeracy and literacy
- Have the ability to engage and influence others
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be committed to our ethos that all students can achieve at Thornhill Community Academy
- Have great references demonstrating they are a suitable candidate, safe to work with children.
