Oakmoor School is a brand new, state of the art secondary school situated in a 22 acre tree lined site on the edge of the South Downs National Park. We are a friendly, vibrant school with high standards and expectations. To compliment our excellent team we are looking for a Cover Supervisor to support the learning of students across all year groups, by providing cover when a teacher is absent. We aim to inspire and motivate our students to achieve excellence and support them to create a successful path for the future.

Working closely with the teachers, you will responsible for setting work provided by the teacher, supervising and assisting with study and the management of classroom engagement. You will have high standards of expectation, deliver lively and engaging lessons from existing plans and support students by responding to questions. When lesson cover is not required, you will be engaged in a range of tasks to support the teaching and learning, supporting the teacher in lessons, supporting students, invigilation, reader or scribe during mock or formal exams and a range of administrative tasks. Experience of classroom management and working with groups of 11 - 16 year olds is preferred, however is not essential as training will be provided. 

You will be a reliable and enthusiastic team player, willing to support where needed and committed to providing a supportive learning environment for our students.
