We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable full-time Cover Supervisor to supervise classes when the subject teacher is absent. The role involves explaining the work and providing support for the students so that they can carry on learning even if their teacher is away.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
• Experience of working with 11 – 16 year olds
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or the equivalent qualification)
• A sense of humour combined with a firm, no nonsense approach
The Astley Cooper School is a part of the East Dacorum Co-operative Learning Trust and works closely with its partnership schools The Adeyfield Academy and Longdean Academy and with Chambersbury Primary School.
