Our aim is to establish a culture of excellence throughout every element of our academy and move us from Good to Outstanding.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will have a strong classroom presence and experience of working with young people in a teaching or non-teaching capacity. You will cover for absent colleagues, taking an active role in teaching the work set, engaging with students and upholding the academy’s high expectations.
No two days will be the same. You will be required to undertake admin and other support duties as directed when not providing cover. You will receive strong support from a “Flagship” inclusion school and will participate in all aspects of life at the academy.
There are 1,000 students on roll, which includes the Sixth Form. A new building programme, just completed, comprises a brand-new Sixth Form Centre, sports facilities including a gym, and a new restaurant and coffee shop for both students and staff. In addition, we are currently able to offer on-site shared accommodation.
