Job overview

Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations for students and staff. We are recruiting an energetic and reliable Cover Supervisor, to join our professional and highly committed support staff team.

This role involves supervising a variety of classes across the school, delivering cover work to students, set by the class teacher in their absence. You will also get involved in providing extra-curricular activities and experiences for students including trips, clubs and workshops aside of the usual timetable.

You

Our ideal candidate is a conscientious and hardworking team player, who is happy to work flexibly in a busy school. You will have excellent communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English. It is also essential for you to be computer literate with experience of using Microsoft packages and ideally SIMs or equivalent.

This post is term-time only with working hours 8.15am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8.15am to 3.45pm on Fridays. The actual salary is £17,600pa, paid in 12 equal instalments across the year.

Benefits

Employee wellbeing is a key part of our values; we have a wide range of incentives to engage staff and ensure they are appreciated and feel valued.  Our benefits include Local Government Pension Scheme; early finish for all half and end of terms; discounted fees with a local nursery; on-site parking and flu jab vouchers. We have a dedicated newly refurbished staffroom, with free tea and coffee.
