Cover Supervisor

32.5 hours a week, term time only (39 weeks)

The Rushden Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a committed and talented individual who can provide cover in the planned and unplanned absence of Teachers for classes across the age and ability range within the academy.

You will be able to demonstrate a range of teaching and behavioural management techniques, which facilitate a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve high standards. 

To be successful you will possess:

• the ability to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
• excellent communication skills, at all levels
• the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

About us

The Rushden Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, opened in September 2015 and will grow year on year until it reaches full capacity in September 2021. It boasts a brand new state-of-the-art building with a dedicated team, led by the Principal Liza Davies, who aims to provide a vibrant, purposeful environment for children to learn. We were recently rated ‘GOOD’ after our most recent OFSTED in June 2018.

This role is for 32.5 hours per week, term time only and this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
