Carlton le Willows are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our academy as soon as possible on a full time, permanent basis.

 

Your new role

 

As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide supervision of pupil learning within the academy. You will need to respond to questions, generally assist students to undertake set activities and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. In addition to cover needs, you will be required to work alongside teaching and classroom-based staff to provide general support for departments. This is a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the academy/school. It is important for you to be ICT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages.

Hours: 37 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 Days (39 Weeks) / Permanent

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area - achieving the best ever results in the school's history this summer. Results for 2025 saw 85% of students achieve a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, compared with a 65% national average. In total 69% of students secured a strong pass of a Grade 5 or above in those two core subjects- far exceeding the national average of 46% and meaning we are placed well above similar schools nationally.

 

A level students in our high performing sixth form also celebrated strong results with more than 91% of the cohort securing a place at their first choice university, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
