Contract type: Full or Part time, Term Time plus 5 training days
Hours of work: 37 hours per week on Full Time
8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday
8:00 am to 3:30 pm Friday

Ken Stimpson Community School is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to build upon our already highly successful team where student outcomes are paramount. The post entails supervising lessons when teachers are absent and assisting with the development of learning resources for such lessons. The role is busy and varied, you will work across many subject areas. In addition to this you will also provide support and cover within our behaviour team and work with groups of students in raising low self-esteem and improving attitude to learning.
Training will be provided along with an induction day to support your transition into the role. Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good ICT skills. Consistent and effective communication are required together with the ability to use own initiative. We would welcome applications from recently graduated university students.

The Ken Stimpson Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and there are 1020 pupils on its roll.
